Point Park partnership progressing well
Talks between council and Agency One bands are progressing in a positive direction.
At last night's council meeting, Mayor June Caul said the First Nations Advisory Committee has had productive meetings with Agency One chiefs and continue to focus on the restoration and revitalization of Point Park.
Two impaired drivers nabbed
Shortly before 7 a.m. on Sunday, officers from the Rainy River District detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a single motor vehicle collision in the area of George Road.
As a result of the collision investigation a young driver aged 17 was charged criminally with Operate Conveyance with 80 or more milligrams of alcohol in 100 ml of blood.
