A group of mothers strolled along Scott Street with their babies, family members, and friends who marched from the Fort Frances Public Library to the Rainy Lake Square on Thursday for World Breastfeeding Week which ran from Aug. 1-7. The event's purpose was to normalize breastfeeding in public. A celebration was held at the square before several mothers participated in a “Latch Mob.”

KITCHENER, Ont.—Ontario's premier said Friday that people with mental illness who commit crimes should be in jail, calling a patient who had been detained at a mental health hospital for killing his roommate an “animal.”

Doug Ford teed off for a second time on the case of Zhebin Cong, who was found not criminally responsible for killing his roommate with a meat cleaver in 2014.

Oldenburg police said the unusual sting operation took place today after officers tried to arrest a 32-year-old man to serve an outstanding 11-month custodial sentence.

The suspect, whose name wasn't released, fled from police and jumped from a balcony straight into a wasps' nest.
