Sudden deaths probed
On Saturday around 2:40 p.m., members of the Kenora OPP responded to a report of a sudden death at a residence on Hawk Lake Road in Kenora.
Officers attended and it was confirmed a 62-year-old female and a 57-year-old male, both from Kenora, were deceased.

Trish McQuaker of J.R Watkins sold various products during an “Easter Market” presented by the Rainy River District Farmers' Market on Saturday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Copper River Inn. It featured 36 vendors and was busy with shoppers for all six hours.
'Egg-stravaganza!'
Ted DeBenetti handed out candy outside of “A Buck or Two" during the Fort Frances Kiwanis Club's fifth-annual "Egg-stravaganza” event that took place Saturday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the downtown core. Hundreds of children filled their Easter baskets with chocolates and candy from the 16 participating businesses along Scott Street.

Hundreds search for missing boy
Hundreds of people spent their Easter long weekend searching for a missing boy from a small southern Ontario community who was swept away in the Grand River during a recent flood.
Searchers from several nearby communities have been congregating just outside Orangeville, Ont. every day for the last six weeks to walk alongside the river and search for the body of Kaden Young.

The USS Little Rock was commissioned in Buffalo, N.Y. on Dec. 16 but was trapped by ice at the Port of Montreal less than two weeks into its maiden voyage.

WINNIPEG—Canada's Indigenous Services minister says Ottawa has fully complied with the orders of a 2016 ruling from the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal which said the federal government discriminates against indigenous children.

Data breach hits Saks Fifth Avenue, Lord & Taylor stores
A data breach at department store chains Saks Fifth Avenue, Saks Off Fifth and Lord & Taylor has compromised the personal information of customers who shopped at the stores.
The chains’ parent company, Canada-based Hudson’s Bay Co., announced the breach of its store payment systems on Sunday. The company said it was investigating and taking steps to contain the attack.
