A photo cutline on page 3 of Thursday's Daily Bulletin contained incorrect information.

It should have read Mason Hebert made a beautifully-decorated blanket with the help of his grandmother, Debbie Hebert, during a March Break workshop held Wednesday at the Sunset Country Métis Hall here.

Lakers suffer tough losses

It hasn't been a lack of effort for the Fort Frances Lakers lately, rather just a lack of execution.

That came to the forefront again in a pair of weekend home losses that extended the squad's losing streak to seven games to conclude the regular season.

Kids were challenged to build their own Lego structure and then run it down a zip-line, with judging for speed, safety, and style.

Members of both the girls' and boys' rinks were hard at work as they prepare to host the OFSAA championships being held tomorrow through Saturday.

'Cirque' aerialist dies in fall

A 38-year-old Cirque du Soleil performer died after falling during a Saturday evening performance in Tampa, Fla., the Canadian entertainment company announced yesterday.

The Montreal-based entertainment group said French aerialist Yann Arnaud fell to the stage while performing an aerial straps number during a performance of the company's VOLTA show.

The longtime comedian died Saturday afternoon from heart complications at the Ottawa Heart Institute, his brother, J.P. MacDonald, said yesterday.

He was 62.

WINNIPEG—Patrik Laine promised he'll do better in the next Winnipeg Jets' game.

The vow came after the sophomore sniper scored twice yesterday in a 4-2 victory over the Dallas Stars.

The performance tied him with Alex Ovechkin at 43 goals as the top NHL goal scorer, but he said he hopes to vault his boyhood idol when the Jets host the L.A. Kings on Tuesday.

When the dust finally settled, the Oklahoma City Thunder had prevailed 132-125 and the Raptors were missing coach Dwane Casey, DeMar DeRozan, and Serge Ibaka, who were all ejected with 8.1 seconds left.

Century-old shipwreck found in Lake Erie, 8 died in sinking

TOLEDO, Ohio — Shipwreck hunters say they’ve discovered the remains of a steamer that sank in Lake Erie over a century ago and left eight people dead.

The National Museum of the Great Lakes says the wreck is several miles off the Ohio shore near Lorain, about 30 miles (48 kilometres) west of Cleveland.
