Three new cases of COVID-19 in Kenora
Northwestern Health Unit has received a report of three new positive COVID-19 test results in the Kenora region. Follow up with the persons involved and their contacts has started according to protocol. Anyone who is identified as a contact for this case will be contacted directly.

(KENORA, ON) On Sunday November 8, 2020 at 2:34p.m, the Kenora Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were notified of a missing person on Pelican Pouch Lake. Police were advised that a Manitoba man had attended his camp and when he failed to return home the OPP were called.

Little NHL tournament cancelled again
There will now be at least a three-year gap between editions of the largest Indigenous youth hockey tournament in Ontario.
The Little Native Hockey League tournament, which is also simply called the Little NHL, was last staged in 2019.
The 2020 event was cancelled mere days before it was scheduled to run this past March because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

New active COVID-19 cases in both Kenora and Sioux-Lookout
The Northwestern Health Unit (NWHU) announced five active COVID-19 cases, one in the Kenora region and four in the Sioux Lookout region over the past week. Two of the Sioux Lookout cases were announced Monday and were not linked to the previous cluster of three cases announced last week.
