Square usage on agenda
Town council is being recommended to endorse guidelines for usage of the Rainy Lake Square at its regular meeting tonight.
The guidelines include allowing bar and restaurant businesses with catering endorsements to sell alcohol at events at the Rainy Lake Square, as well as the prohibition of smoking in the square.
The guidelines also outline reservations and user fees.

On March 24 around 8:50 p.m., the body of a 16-year-old youth was located in the area of Brinkman Road and Evergreen School in Kenora.

Muskie squad nabs fourth
It was a great showing for the Muskie girls' hockey team last week at the OFSAA 'A/AA' championships in Timmins.
Seeded third for the 16-team tournament, the squad fell short of their goal of a provincial title with a 3-0 loss to second-ranked St. Anne's CSS in Friday morning's semi-final.
Lakers grab series lead
Fort Frances native Ian Tookenay scored just 1:21 into overtime to lift the host Fort Frances Lakers to a 2-1 victory over the English River Miners on Saturday night in Game 3 of their best-of-five quarter-final playoff series.
The Lakers now lead the series 2-1 and have English River on the brink of elimination heading into Game 4 tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the Ice For Kids Arena.

The Muskie boys' curling rink, comprised of Grade 12 players Chris Silver, Jason Bazylewski, and Daniel Vandenbrand, along with Owen Riches and Ben Olson, won OFSAA gold with a 6-3 win over Widdifield (North Bay) in Saturday afternoon's boys' final at the Fort Frances Curling Club.
