Chloe Dolyny, left, Payton Dolyny, and Healey Jansen sang “We’re Not Reindeer” in “Santa’s Holiday Hoedown”—a musical performed by the J.W. Walker Grade 4-6 students at the Townshend Theatre last night. The hour-long production told the story of the toy shop crew who heads to Branson, Miss. to raise much-needed funds with a down-home country music jamboree.
Housing project interest still high
As work on the Edgewood townhomes continues, interest in the new development remains high.
Three of the first five have been spoken for, Len Smart of Syncor Contracting Inc. said during a tour of the easternmost unit last Thursday.

Faragher hurt in win
It’s not like things haven’t been going rough enough for Utah Grizzlies’ goalie Ryan Faragher lately.
The Fort Frances native was injured in last Friday’s 6-5 overtime win against the Rapid City Rush in ECHL action.
Faragher was hurt after a collision with an unidentified Rush player on a second-period breakaway.

The “Hallett Hall Choraliers” sang a selection of Christmas carols for a large group of residents and visitors at Rainycrest yesterday afternoon. The group of residents have been practising under the tutelage of Diane Maxey, who also directs the popular Fort Frances Choraliers.
